THL relocated a house out of Christchurch’s red zone for me in late 2013 and they were friendly, easy to deal with, and demonstrated competence in all aspects of what they did. Mine wasn’t the easiest of houses to deal with; the house was significantly out of level from the quakes, I specified a mix of foundation types and subfloor materials for the new location, and I insisted on a tight programme. Despite these challenges, THL carefully deconstructed, transported and re-sited the house, delivering a thoroughly professional outcome, on-time and within budget. I’ve been living in my new place for 18months now and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result! I work in the construction industry and therefore expect a high level of service from contractors – Kurt and his team more than delivered on these expectations, and I would have no hesitation working with them again in future.
